History
Queensland Aerospace College (QAC) had its beginnings in 1990, when in partnership with the Central Queensland University (Division of Distance and Continuing Education), undertook a DEET (Department of Employment Education and Training) funded program for the training of aircraft maintenance engineers. This program was the beginnings as a College. In 1992 received “Approved Organisation” status and more recently “Registered Training Organisation” status from the Queensland Government.
In January 1993, QAC commenced flying operations, both air charter and flight training and was also registered with the Australian Government as a CRICOS Provider for the intake of international Students. Since then Queensland Aerospace has gone from strength to strength.
Many students from overseas have trained with QAC and include students from such countries as India, Japan, Malaysia, Korea, Singapore, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Vanuatu, Western Samoa and Fiji.
The College is Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) approved.

We are flexible and responsive to the needs of our customers and guarantee the quality of our products and services. We have in place a Quality Management System that has been assessed as meeting the requirements of AS/NZS ISO 9001.
Evidence of Experience
Since its commencement in 1990, QAC has been privileged to have trained many students from overseas countries as both pilots to Air Transport Pilot standard and engineers. Students from both areas are working throughout the aviation industry both here in Australia and overseas. From airlines to the smaller general aviation operations, from Australia to India, Japan or Korea, Queensland Aerospace College has an excellent reputation for its high standard of training and the personal attention given to customers.
